I LOVE this pepper grinder so so much! Pepper always tastes better when it’s freshly ground and for several years I was stuck with pre-ground pepper because I had a pepper grinder that didn’t work very well – it always got stuck and it took too much time. Once I discovered this OXO pepper grinder I will never go back. It’s easy to grind, never gets clogged, easy to re-fill, and has settings to easily adjust the coarseness of the pepper. Bottom line: it’s a pepper grinder that ACTUALLY works and everyone needs one!
Ironically enough I don’t have a salt grinder to match my pepper grinder. The reason is that there is no difference in flavor when you grind your salt, so what’s the point in taking the time? I don’t personally have this bamboo salt box, but I use a similar method. To keep your salt in a box rather than a shaker saves so much time for measuring or sprinkling salt. This bamboo salt box can live on your counter or your cupboard and the lid will keep everything clean.
Rachel Ray bench scrape shovel
A bench scraper? WHAT?! Sounds funny but this is actually really useful. This product is by Rachel Ray, a kitchen genius when it comes to tricks for making cooking more efficient. If you are chopping something and you need to transfer a bunch of chopped veggies to your pan that’s half way across the kitchen (or even right next to you), this little tool is the fastest way to do it – just scoop everything up and dump it in your pan. The best cooking tool that I use literally every day!
Calphalon 12 inch nonstick griddle
Whether making scrambling eggs, pancakes, or sauteing veggies a good nonstick pan is essential in any kitchen. I have gone through several nonstick pans in my day and this one has lasted me the longest. That’s saying a lot because we use this skillet just about every day.
If you ever cook with garlic you absolutely need a garlic press in your life. All you do is add the cloves right inside, squeeze the handles together and perfectly minced pieces of garlic come out the other end. Such a time saver!
The instant pot!!!! I have had one for over a year now and I’m obsessed – it has saved me so much time in the kitchen!!! It literally cuts cooking time in half! It’s a pressure cooker, a slow cooker, a yogurt maker, and a rice cooker (just to name a few) all in one. I have yet to make use of a fraction of what this versatile kitchen appliance can do.
I have a few of these USA nonstick sheet pans and they are my fave! They are sturdy, they won’t warp in your oven and they are super easy to clean. Essential for holiday baking!!!
Silpat non-stick silicone baking mat
Even a good nonstick sheet pan needs some help with those sticky baked goods. A silpat mat is like a re-usable piece of parchment paper, only better. It saves so much time because you don’t have to grease the pan or cut out a piece of parchment paper. Again, a must have for baking season!
Since we’re on the topic of baking this medium cookie scoop by oxo is the BEST! Ensure that your cookies are all the same size and the spring loaded mechanism allows you to plop the cookies onto your baking sheet one handed.
Cuisinart 7 cup food processor
If I had to choose one kitchen appliance it would be my Cuisinart food processor!!!! From making hummus, to pie dough, to cookies, to pesto, to making nut butter, to shredding carrots and cabbage, this baby is by far my most used and beloved appliance. Trust me, I have given it a run for it’s money too!
This OXO produce saver prolongs the life of any kind of produce – fruits, veggies, and greens. Mostly, I keep my greens in this thing. The mesh basket keeps the air moving while the top has a carbon filter to help rid the gasses that are released from the veggies. It really truly, does what it promises, keeps produce longer. My only regret is that I don’t have more cupboard and fridge space for like 5 more of these things! Lol.

I have a garlic press similar to that one and you’re right, it’s suuuch a time saver. I also just bought some Silpat mats and bench scrapers to use when making ciabatta bread. I’ll have to try them for chopping veggies 🙂
