Description
This smoothie is packed with nutrient rich ingredients and tastes like summer. Enjoy it as part of your breakfast, or lunch.

- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other milk you prefer)
- Juice of 1 large lime
- 1 cup cilantro (including stems that have been trimmed)
- 1 to 2 cups spinach
- 1 banana, previously frozen and sliced
- 1 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 to 2 inches ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoons matcha tea (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend on high until everything is creamy. Taste and adjust as needed, add more banana for sweetness, more lime juice, more ginger, or more pineapple.
- Transfer to a serving glass and enjoy immediately.
- NOTE: If your blender is not high speed then first blend the milk, lime juice, cilantro and spinach until no green chunks remain. Then gradually add the frozen fruit, about 1/4 cup at a time, blending until smooth in between each addition of frozen fruit.
