On Monday I posted a Coconut Bellini recipe to celebrate my 100th recipe!
Today, I am sharing with you my top 10 favorite recipes that I have posted!
Making this list was much harder than I had thought it would be. I mean, how do you chose only 10 recipes out of 100? It’s as difficult as picking your favorite children. Okay, so I don’t have children yet, but I do feel that these recipes are like my babies.
Somehow, with Paul’s help, since he is my official taste-tester and all, we whittled it down to 10 recipes.
So, without further ado, my first ever recipe round-up!
1. Pesto and Mozzarella-Stuffed Potato Skins
Pesto and Mozzarella-Stuffed Potato Skins was one of those recipes that I dreamt up on a whim and went out and bought the ingredients the following day. They turned out perfectly. The potatoes were crispy, the cheese was smooth, the roasted red peppers were silky, and the herb pesto was nutty and earthy. These little dudes make the perfect appetizer or side dish for any party or meal.
2. Strawberry and Arugula Sangria
Sangria! The most refreshing boozy drink to enjoy in the summertime. Strawberry and Arugula Sangria has the perfect complement of sweet strawberries, juicy citrus and surprisingly spicy arugula. It is the ultimate drink to share with friends on your porch.
3. Pork Chops with Apples and Gouda
Pork Chops with Apples and Gouda is one of our main go-to meals. It comes together in just 30 minutes, and is a complete meal made in one skillet. Plus, it is super impressive.
4. Gluten-Free Eggplant Parmesan
Paul and I both begin to drool whenever we think of this recipe. It is a little more labor-intensive than most of the recipes I make, but it is well worth it. Gluten-free Eggplant Parmesan makes you feel like you are at a fancy Italian restaurant.
5. Orange Hot Chocolate
Orange Hot Chocolate is decadent and incredibly easy to make. It will warm you up from the inside out during the winter months. It just may be my favorite hot chocolate I have ever had!
6. Green Bean Casserole with Creamy Cauliflower Sauce and Crispy Shallots
This green bean casserole is my healthy twist on the traditional green bean casserole served at family holidays. It is one of my all-time favorite side dishes, perfect for any special occasion.
7. Buffalo Meatballs with Blue Cheese Sauce
This recipe was created in mind for football gatherings. In my opinion those gatherings are all about the food. What’s this football you speak of? However, these buffalo meatballs quickly turned into a favorite.
8. Pumpkin Seed Mayan Dark Chocolate Bark
If you ever need to satisfy your chocolate craving in a healthy way this dessert is it: dark chocolate, protein-packed pumpkin seeds and cayenne pepper.
9. Coffee Roasted Sweet Potato Dessert Fries Drizzled with Dark Chocolate
If you’ve ever had a dish that has completely unexpected flavors, yet is insanely delicious, this recipe is one of those. It may sound odd, but it is out-of-this world!
10. Black & White Black Bean Brownies (GF)
I took a family favorite, black and white cupcakes, and made them into a healthier, gluten-free dessert. I can’t even describe how insanely delicious these guys are!
11. Bonus Recipe! Greek Sweet Potato Boats
I added a bonus recipe, partially because I just couldn’t decide on 10 recipes, and partially because I can’t count.
Greek sweet potato boats are surprisingly satisfying. They are incredibly healthy with tons of vegetables and nutrition-packed sweet potatoes!
