Scale
- 2 bottles dry white wine (I used Pinot Grigio)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1 cup mint leaves, washed and dried
- 1 whole medium-sized cantaloupe, cut into cubes, or use a melon baller
- 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
- 1 cup green grapes washed, dried, and frozen (optional)
Instructions
- Pour about a ½ cup white wine into a pitcher. Add the honey and use a wooden spoon to stir until the honey has been combined. Add most of the mint leaves and muddle them with the back of your wooden spoon.
- Add the remaining wine and the vodka. Stir to combine.
- Add the lemon and most of the cantaloupe and stir to combine.
- Place in the refrigerator overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.
- Serve cold and garnish with remaining melon balls and mint leaves. Place a few frozen grapes into the sangria to help keep it cold without watering the sangria down.
