Description

Cherry limeade only requires 3 ingredients and 10 minutes to make. It is sweet, tart and super refreshing.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (about 6 to 8 limes)
  • 1 cup frozen (or fresh) pitted Bing cherries, defrosted
  • 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup agave nectar
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 lime, cut into slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the pitted Bing cherries into a blender, and a splash of the lime juice, along with the agave nectar (start with ½ cup; you can always stir more agave in at the end). Blend until the cherries are pureed.
  2. To a pitcher add the cherry juice mixture, the remainder of the lime juice, 3 cups filtered water, and the 1 cup ice. Stir to combine. Taste-test the cherry limeade. If you want to add more agave nectar, simply stir it in really well.
  3. Add the lime slices to the pitcher. You can also add a lime slice to each glass for garnish.
  4. Keep chilled in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir really well just before serving. Serve over ice.
