Description

One bite of these Indian-spiced Lamb Chops and you will be in love. This is a simple, yet flavorful way to enjoy your lamb.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 10 lamb loin chops
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons oil (such as grape seed or olive oil)
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala (found in the Asian section)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • Sweet mango chutney, for serving, optional (found in the Asian section)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow baking dish mix together all of the spices. Add the oil and vinegar and mix until incorporated.
  2. Place the lamb chops into the dish. Use tongs to coat both sides of the lamb in the spices.
  3. Cover with Saran wrap and place in the fridge for 1 to 3 hours.
  4. When ready to cook, place on a preheated grill and cook for 10 minutes per side, or until the lamb reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
  5. Allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes to lock in the juices. Serve with a side of mango chutney.
